Our website has been renewed
With a renewed design, the website of the Reformed Diocese of Nagykároly now welcomes its readers, continually striving to keep pace with current trends and modern technological standards.
One of the most striking changes is the new logo, which still prominently features Károli Gáspár, the Bible translator, holding the Holy Scriptures in his hand. Beyond representing his person, the logo symbolizes the Christian believer who lifts up, holds, and regularly reads God’s revealed Word, the Bible. Behind Károli Gáspár, a star also appears, referring primarily to Jesus and the shining star of Bethlehem, while at the same time serving as a symbol of our Reformed faith.
The purpose of the website is to provide meaningful and enriching content for those who seek the Gospel of Jesus on the internet. To this end, the “Daily Scripture” section offers biblical guidance every day, and the brief devotional reflections available below it present new explanations week by week, intended to serve as a compass in both joyful and sorrowful moments of life. Fresh diocesan news, as well as Reformed-related news from within the country and beyond the borders, will continue to occupy a prominent place. Visitors can find information about upcoming church events, access a directory of congregations and other important data, and view photographs of the churches of our diocese.
The website of the Reformed Diocese of Carei has now been operating for 12 years. The first entry was posted on January 20, 2014, and since then we have continually sought to address primarily the readers of our region. We aim to inform both Transylvanian and cross-border readers about our daily life and congregational events.
Our website’s new design was made possible through the financial support of Bethlen Gábor Fund Management Ltd. and thanks to the work of the team at Nsystem in Szatmárnémeti. Also with the support of the Hungarian government, the Dean’s Office has acquired a new drone, enabling us to continue capturing impressive footage of the churches of our diocese. All that remains for you to do is to visit our website daily, and if something catches your interest, feel free to share it with your friends on social media.
